What you will be able to do
- List who the Code of Ethics binds, its sanctions and its limitation periods
- Explain the duties of loyalty, confidentiality, reporting and cooperation
- Apply the five tests for gifts, and the rule on commission, to an agent’s dealings
- Identify a conflict of interest, and what must be disclosed and when
- Judge whether an ethics sanction fits the breach, using the Code’s factors
- Advise a client through an Ethics Committee investigation, from complaint to CAS
