How the course works
57 lessons and about 37 hours of study, built on the January 2026 study pack. FIFA has not yet published the 2027 pack; we will reconcile the course when it does.
-
Short lessons
Each lesson explains one part of the regulations through slides and real cases, and ends with questions that check what you have just read.
-
A test for every module
Every module ends in a timed test at the exam’s pace, three minutes a question, marked as FIFA marks: every correct option and nothing else.
-
A capstone case
The last module follows one player and agent through every regulation in the pack, and ends in a 20-question paper in the exam’s format.
The twelve modules
-
Phase 1
Start here
Understand the exam, the study pack and the method before you learn the regulations.
-
0
Orientation
How the licence and the exam work, what the exam can and can’t test, and how to prepare for an open-book exam.
-
Phase 2
Master the core regulations
Build the legal knowledge an agent needs, from licensing and representation to transfers, disputes and discipline.
-
1
Becoming a football agent
Who FIFA will license, and who it won’t.
-
2
Acting as a football agent
How a licensed agent must work: agencies and representation agreements, minors, fees, duties and conflicts, and how disputes are resolved.
-
3
Transfers and contracts
How players are registered and move between countries, how contracts are protected and what happens when one is broken, the rights of female players, the protection of minors, and training rewards: the transfer regulations every agent works under.
-
4
Training rewards and the Clearing House
How the clubs that trained a player get paid: the three triggers, the electronic player passport, the review, and how the FIFA Clearing House collects and pays training rewards, with its compliance checks and sanctions.
-
5
Disputes and the Football Tribunal
How FIFA’s Football Tribunal resolves disputes: its three chambers, who can bring a claim, communications and time limits, how a claim proceeds to a decision, costs, mediation, training reward and minors applications, and the route on to CAS.
-
6
Discipline
How FIFA disciplines associations, clubs, players, officials and agents: who is subject to the Disciplinary Code, the sanctions, the main offences, the enforcement of unpaid decisions, and how cases are decided and appealed.
-
Phase 3
Build professional judgement
Apply the rules to ethics, governance, safeguarding and responsible recruitment.
-
7
Ethics and integrity
How the FIFA Code of Ethics binds officials, players and football agents: the duties it imposes, the rules on conflicts of interest, gifts and commission, the integrity offences from abuse to bribery, and how the Ethics Committee investigates and decides.
-
8
How FIFA is governed
How FIFA is constituted and run under its Statutes: its objectives, its member associations and their duties, the Congress, the Council and the general secretariat, the independent committees, the Football Tribunal and CAS, and how World Cup hosts are chosen.
-
9
Safeguarding children in football
How football keeps children safe: what safeguarding and abuse mean, FIFA’s five principles and five steps, safe recruitment, supervision and travel, how to recognise and respond to a concern, and the duties an agent carries when representing young players.
-
10
Ethical recruitment
How to recruit and represent young players the way FIFA expects: personal and professional ethics, the misconduct that harms players, the rules on minors, trials and inducements, children’s rights, and best practice in scouting, communication and contracts.
-
Phase 4
Prove your exam readiness
Bring every document together in one practical case and finish with a full exam-paced paper.
-
11
Capstone
One case file follows a player and his agent from a first approach at 15 to a dispute at 23, through every regulation in the pack.
